Shahadah

Shahadah comes from the Arabic word which Syahida , which means he has witnessed. Shahadah  in Islamic law is a statement of trust in the oneness of God (Allah) and the Prophet Muhammad as his messenger. Shahadah consists of two sentences, there are :

1. 'Ashadu 'al la ilaha illa I-Lah 
The meaning : I testify that there is no God except Allah

2. Wa 'ashadu 'anna muhammadar rasulu I-Lah
The meaning : and I testify that muhammad is  the apostle of Allah
